Finally!! My New Coord!!

I've been waiting for a while to put together this new coord ever since I bought this dress (Biscuit and Stripe JSK from Bodyline) from lacemarket. I actually loved the outfit of the model in the picture so much I wanted to make mine as similar as possible, so I bought a new white blouse and a wig from Taobao, and some really cute knee socks from Roji Roji. Actually, finding socks to match the dress was a little hard since the blue colour had faded a bit during the previous owner's use of it, so the colour was different to how it was orignally. Luckily I asked around and someone recommended Roji Roji, and sure enough they had the perfect colour! I'm forever grateful to that person haha. I guess I'll have to update the "wardrobe" section of my blog soon.

I love how it turned out, but if I had to make one change it would be to buy some shoes with a thicker sole, heels or platform. I also want to make more regular posts on here, but I don't do much and I worry they would be boring (⌒_⌒;) Should I anyway? But anyway, that's it for now!

A Few of My Christmas Gifts!

Christmas has come! Yesterday was super nice, I was able to spend some time with family I don't get to see super often, and the whole day overall was so lovely. I wanted to make a quick post to show a couple of the gifts I recieved for Christmas yesterday. I love them so much and I'm just so super grateful!! I was the most excited about my new CD player though. I've been wanting one for ages now so I can play my cds, and the fact that it's pink had me over the moon LOL. If anyone seeing this would like to comment their favourite gift too, I would love to hear it! As you might have seen on my status, I did also go on a trip to Melbourne recently with my family, I'll post some pictures of that soon too!

A Backyard Lolita

This is my first post on this blog! So exciting!
As soon as I saw this dress whilst scrolling through ebay, I fell in love. I really wanted a black dress for a while, but I was hesitant due to the similarities some have to some typical "maid" outfits. This one was just perfect though, black with polka dots (I love polka dots!!) and for an affordable price too. I adore the tiered ruffles at the sides too. I bought a headdress for it, but as I'm writing this I'm contemplating buying a headbow to match instead. If anyone has any opinion on which would look better with the dress let me know!

When all of the pieces of the outfit finally arrived I was thrilled, and I put on the whole coord immediately. My mum helped me to take some photos haha. They turned out okay, especially with a fun colour filter on them. I wore two petticoats, yet I'm unsure of how satisfied I am with the amount of poofiness. I'll try my hoop skirt underneath it next time. Also maybe take the photos somewhere other than the backyard LOL. I'm not sure how confident I am with wearing Lolita in my own town though. It might be a bit small and too "country" for something as extra as Lolita fashion. Sigh. I should have put on makeup too. I'll wear it for my next photos so I look a bit more put together X)

Finally!! My New Coord!!
